About Pete

Pete Rohleder, M.Ed., CSCS is a movement educator, performance coach, and trusted voice in the fitness industry—known for bridging the gap between movement science and real-world coaching.
With nearly two decades of experience, Pete has helped thousands of clients, athletes, and coaches improve their health, movement, and performance with practical, science-backed strategies. He’s passionate about translating complex concepts into simple tools that work in the gym, in the classroom, and in real life.
Pete’s career has spanned personal training, strength and conditioning, and academic teaching. He owned and operated Pure Fitness Rx, a studio dedicated to performance and movement evaluation. His insight into body transformation earned him the role of State Fitness Consultant for the Miss Kansas America pageant system, where he supported numerous title winners across fitness and swimwear divisions. He continues to consult with pageant contestants, athletes, and coaches across the country.
For the past 15 years, Pete has served in higher education, currently teaching in the Kinesiology Program at Kansas State University, with teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology, Biomechanics, Exercise Physiology, Strength and Conditioning, Performance and Movement Enhancement, Motor Learning, Program Design, and Professional Development.
He also designs curriculum and speaks nationally for Exercise ETC., one of the nation’s largest providers of continuing education for fitness professionals, and is the founder of More To Movement—a platform and podcast designed to help coaches lead with purpose, coach with clarity, and create lasting impact.
Pete is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the NSCA, and holds a Master’s degree in Exercise Science from Wichita State University, with a focus on Human Performance.
A previous East-Coaster and now based in the Midwest, Pete is a proud husband, dad, and lifelong movement nerd—always looking for new ways to grow, serve, and help others level-up.
